Assembly Update

Some major changes might be coming to the Ape Assembly soon. AIP-347 (Enable DAO-Wide Voting for Working Group Stewards) is currently up for vote on Snapshot. If approved, it would transition the responsibility of electing Working Group Stewards from the Ape Assembly to a DAO-wide vote. It would also transition the responsibility of electing the DAO Secretary from the Ape Assembly to the full group of Stewards.

You can read more about the full proposal in the “AIP Live Voting” section below.

Stat of the Week

I’ve been trying out ChatGPT’s Data Analysis tool recently and have been impressed so far. By simply uploading a spreadsheet, it can return charts like the one below formatted how you want it.

The chart below is a pretty basic one, but I’m excited to incorporate this into my repertoire to help me analyze different data sets.

Deliverables would include the following:

  • A QR Code on every future Bored Brewing Beer can for at least two years starting in 2024. The codes would lead to educational content (videos, images, text, potential AR) and onboarding (calls to action) with analytics

  • Collaboration with the first ten NFT communities who would be vetted, able to cover shipping and production costs if over the $2.50 per beer that this AIP would cover, and able to execute an IRL event

AIP-343: Miami ApeCoin eSports Arena Partnership

This proposal would form a partnership with ROK eSports Arena in Miami. The focus would be on titles adopting ApeCoin as an in-game currency in an attempt to bridge the gap between traditional and blockchain-based gaming landscapes.

It would include the following steps to implement:

  • Initiate official sponsorship of ROK Arena

  • Design and deploy custom ApeCoin peripherals for all PC setups

  • Establish ApeCoin branding throughout the LAN Center, including NFT showcase months

  • Host ApeCoin sponsored tournaments with prize pools

  • Create a dedicated “ApeCoin Arena” for high-stake tournament finals within ROK

  • Invite creators and streamers for hosting tournaments

AIP-347: Enable DAO-Wide Voting for Working Group Stewards

This proposal would alter the responsibility of the Ape Assembly, who is currently tasked with electing Working Group Stewards and the DAO Secretary via AIP-239. The responsibility of electing the DAO Secretary would also be transitioned from the Ape Assembly to the full group of Stewards.

The requirements for the Ape Assembly would also be removed so anyone holding at least one ApeCoin would be eligible to join.
