The Bulletin Bored: Round Two

(Issue 60)

Welcome back for another issue of The Bulletin Bored, where I provide news, analytics, and other information on the Apecoin DAO. You might be noticing this week’s issue is arriving in your inbox a day early. I’ll be on the road for most of tomorrow so I wanted to make sure I still provided you with this week’s updates on time. With three more days until the completion of the Special Council and Governance Steward elections, let’s dive into this week’s issue.

DAO Stats

Bored News

  • The second round of elections for Special Council and Governance Stewards concludes in 3 days (6/28)

  • The two winners of the Special Council and Governance Steward Elections will begin their terms on 7/1

Secretary Update

As part of my Secretary mandate, I have been working on developing a DAO Calendar that tracks elections, meetings, Spaces, and more. Here is a direct link to this calendar or you can also find it by visiting my newsletter home page and clicking Secretary Corner > DAO Calendar at the top.

Ape Assembly Update

The Ape Assembly held its first 6 votes in the Discord server this past week. Below are the results of each vote plus a great thread by Sera to help you learn what it is and if you’re eligible to join.

Chart of the Week

As we wrap up this season’s Special Council elections, here’s a recap of how current participation compares to what it was during the last SC election cycle six months ago.

Note: Please excuse my typo in the table as that should should say 12/21/22 😉

Every metric above has increased with the exception of wallets voting on proposals. Has the amount of people who delegate their voting power increased or are people less interested in voting today? I’m curious to find out. The number of delegators was around 400 a few weeks ago. I’ll keep an eye on that statistic as time goes on.

In addition to the Tweet above, here is a video breakdown of this data.
