Welcome back for another issue of The Bulletin Bored, where I provide news, analytics, and other information on the Apecoin DAO. The RFP process to find a new DAO Administrator has concluded and WebSlinger is the DAO’s new Cayman Administrator. Working Group Zero (WG0) is starting to pick back up discussions on forming Focus and Working Groups to establish structure in the DAO. The RFP process completed on 2/22 with WebSlinger winning the election for a new Cayman Administrator. As we look ahead to March, WG0 is shifting its attention back to developing the structure and guidelines of future Working Groups. Are you interested in being part of the discussion? February contained the highest amount of perfect voters since September of 2022. Is this an outlier or start of a new voting trend?

• Proof, the Web3 project behind NFT collection Moonbirds, canceled plans for its Proof of Conference event in May.

• EA co-founder Trip Hawkins is joining Web3 gaming startup Games For A Living as chief strategy officer.

• The SEC proposed a new “custody” rule that would limit asset managers’ ability to put customer money into crypto assets.

• A U.S. district court judge has denied Dapper Labs' request to dismiss a class action lawsuit that alleges the company’s NBA Top Shot NFTs are unregistered securities.

• The SEC and NY Attorney General are objecting to Binance.US’s planned acquisition of bankrupt crypto lender Voyager, alleging the plan involves selling unregistered securities.

• Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman Fried was charged with four additional counts of fraud, specifically targeting illegal political donations he made in the US. SBF has been charged with 12 criminal counts to date.
