The Bulletin Bored: Holding the DAO Accountable
(Issue 55)
Welcome back for another issue of The Bulletin Bored, where I provide news, analytics, and other information on the Apecoin DAO. As part of my Secretary mandate, I’ve created a Milestone Tracker and have been reaching out to authors of approved AIPs to follow-up on the status of their projects. It’s been great to hear from these authors as they’ve shared with me the progress they have made thus far. Expect to see updates from a few of them on the Forum soon.
The election period for two Forum Facilitators is currently in progress and ends on Wednesday (5/24)
The two elected Forum Facilitators will begin their term on 6/1
The Governance Working Group Steward Application Period is now closed; the KYC process is underway and accepted applications will have their associated profiles posted to the Forum next week
The Special Council Application Period is also closed; the KYC process is underway and accepted applications will have their associated profiles posted to the Forum next week
I’ve made additional updates to my Milestone Tracker database since last week. Here’s a breakdown of the progress made.
I’m continuing to reach out to authors to find current statuses on the TBD items. Stay tuned.
Reminder for authors: You can post in the Discourse thread or fill out this form to let us know of any updates you have.

There are also three proposals in the Live Voting stage this week. Voting ends at 6 PM PST on Wednesday 5/24. You can vote on Snapshot here.
This proposal is requesting funds to feature Bored Ape Yacht Club as the pilot collection of the NFTCG Generation 2 card game. Each physical trading card would contain an immutable private key that ties itself to a token on the Ethereum blockchain.
Each booster pack in this pilot collection would cost $15 and be exclusively payable in ApeCoin. The proposal states someone who holds the following would receive the following discounts:
Holding 100 ApeCoin would result in a 2.5% site-wide discount
Holding 1,000 ApeCoin would result in a 5% site-wide discount
Holding 5,000 ApeCoin would result in a 10% site-wide discount
Five percent of revenue generated from NFTCG Generation 2 “Going Bananas” and all future Yuga Labs related collections would be allocated based on a future ApeCoin DAO decision. The proposal lists the following options:
Redistribute it back to the ApeCoin DAO community
Burn it
Donate it to a charity of the community’s choice
The proposal is requesting $55,885 (in ApeCoin), broken down as follows:
[Phase 1] Card Selection and Final Advisory Board: $0
