The Bulletin Bored: Guy Oseary and Ape Drops

We received two new proposals this week, one requesting to make Guy Oseary an Apecoin DAO Representative and the other asking for funding for an Ape Drops Marketplace. Let’s take a look at each.

Simply put, this proposal aims to make Guy Oseary a representative of the Apecoin DAO. For those who are not familiar with Guy, he previously worked for Maverick Records and represented Madonna and U2. He also has multiple investments with Ashton Kutcher, including Airbnb, Uber, and Spotify to name a few. Lately, he has been working with many of the top NFT projects, including Bored Ape Yacht Club, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, CryptoPunks, Meebits, World of Women, Sandbox, Pixel Vault, Beeple, and 10KTF. It’s quite the list.

This proposal aims to give Guy one percent of the Apecoin DAO Ecosystem Fund to utilize between when the proposal passes and December 31, 2023. It also indicates Guy will provide quarterly transparency reports that detail how much was spent, on what, and why and any ROI gained from deals will go back into the Ecosystem fund.

Ape Drops mission is to put out the best possible art, music, and merchandise for the Ape community. This proposal is asking for financial support from the Apecoin DAO for future Ape Drops.
