Chart of the Week

As the number of approved AIPs continue to rise, now up to 77, so do the number of milestones attached to them. With 380 total milestones, it’s starting to become difficult to stay up-to-date on them all.

If you’re curious about the progress authors have made on their AIPs and whether or not they are following through on what they listed, check out my Milestone Tracker here.

AIP Live Voting

There are two proposals in the Live Voting stage this week. Voting ends at 6 PM PST on Wednesday 10/25. You can view the proposals and vote on Snapshot here.

AIP-334: Maui Relief Fund

This proposal aims to give a $1,200,000 grant to the Maui Humane Society and 100 identified local families devastated by the recent Maui wildfire. $200,000 would be directed to the Maui Humane Society to help reunite families with lost pets and care for displaced and injured animals. $1 million would be distributed directly to 100 local families ($10,000 each). Here is how these families would be selected:

  1. Immediate support would be given to the 15 families who have already shared their stories with the team behind this proposal.

  2. 5 community leaders would be identified and each would nominate 15 families in dire need.

  3. The remaining 10 slots would be utilized for further nominations and personally identifying families in temporary shelters who need urgent assistance.

You can find the full proposal, including a detailed cost breakdown, here and the current voting results are below.

AIP-337: Re-evaluating ApeCoin DAO Special Council Salaries Structure

If approved by the DAO, this proposal would reduce future Special Council salaries by 50% (from $20,833 of ApeCoin/month to $10,417 of ApeCoin/month). This adjustment would be applicable to all future Special Council terms, exclusively affecting Special Council members elected after the implementation of this proposal.

You can find the full proposal, including a detailed cost breakdown, here and the current voting results are below.

AIP Completed Voting

There were five proposals that completed the voting process last Wednesday. Here are the final results for each:
