The Bulletin Bored: Discourse Facilitators and Perfect Voters
(Issue 49)
Welcome back for another issue of The Bulletin Bored, where I provide news, analytics, and other information on the Apecoin DAO. Working Group Zero continues to work on its initial Working Group AIP and also now has a Community Discourse Facilitator AIP posted to Discourse as well. This week’s issue touches on these plus a few other AIP updates.
As the DAO transitioned to a new Cayman Administrator, one of the roles the community took on was the Discourse “Facilitator.” It involves moving AIPs through the pipeline as they are ready, asking the authors questions, and writing AIP Analysis Reports.
As part of the WG0 mandate from AIP-196, Amplify, Lost, and I have taken on these responsibilities in the interim until a longer-term solution is voted on and approved. The WG0 Stewards have also proposed a Community Discourse Facilitator role to allow the community to take on these tasks long term.
March had by far the highest amount of perfect voters since I started tracking this metric. A perfect voter is someone who voted on every proposal in the month.
There were only 3 proposals, but March had by far the highest amount of perfect voters (709) since I started tracking this metric.

There are two proposals in the Live Voting stage this week. Voting ends at 6 PM PST on Wednesday 4/12. You can vote on Snapshot here.
This proposal aims to create a Web3 streaming platform powered by ApeCoin. Audiences would be able to either pay for media they want to watch On-Demand directly in ApeCoin or they would be able to opt for AVOD (Advertising Video On Demand) and be rewarded in ApeCoin for their attention with a cut of the ad revenue.
The proposed revenue share split is below:
65% - Creator
25% - Platform
10% - Viewer
The first version of the platform would focus on the following:
Live streaming, centered around Otherside gameplay, with basic chat and community features
FAST (free ad-supported streaming) channels and a 24-hour live feed network for content creators, monetized through ad placement and the option for on-demand viewing using ApeCoin
Payments to viewers and creators
The total cost for this proposal is $2,200,000. You can find the full proposal, including a detailed cost breakdown, here and the current voting results are below.
This proposal aims to create a Decentralized Events Network for the ApeCoin DAO by requesting to do the following:
Bring local, in-person gatherings to the forefront of the ApeCoin Ecosystem
Host and manage small local meetups, informational events, and expos/conferences by Local Champions, active members, and Ambassadors from the community including several BAYC/MAYC Clubs
Build the network upon a tech stack that integrates a master calendar, an events directory, a CRM, and ticketing apps
Serve as the IRL distribution network for all products and services born in the DAO
The total cost for this proposal is 570,619 ApeCoin. You can find the full proposal, including a detailed cost breakdown, here and the current voting results are below.
The were four proposals that completed the voting process last Wednesday. Here are the final results for each:
