(Issue 28)
Contributions to this week's newsletter made by @maariabajwa
Welcome back for another issue of The Bulletin Bored, where I provide news, analytics, and other information on the Apecoin DAO and broader BAYC ecosystem. What an eventful week it has been. I’m continuously saddened by the poor decisions individuals in this space make, but at the same time I’m encouraged by those continuing to build for the ecosystem. Let’s dive in to this week’s issue.
Yuga Labs released their news site, a new home for all official press releases, blogs, events, and drops
Yuga Labs welcomes the WENEW Labs and 10KTF Shop team to the Yugaverse
The Bug Bounty Program run by Immunefi and coordinated by Llama went live last Thursday (11/10). The initial program will run on the Goerli testnet until 11/24.
The bug bounty program for the ApeCoin staking deployment on Goerli is live. This testnet program will run for two weeks.

The team has reviewed about 15 submissions so far but none have been accepted as valid bugs yet. You can follow along here for updates.
If no critical or high severity bugs are found, here is the remaining timeline of events.
11/24/22: Contract is deployed to mainnet
11/24/22-12/8/22: Users have 2 weeks to pre-commit assets
12/8/22: Assuming no critical or high severity findings, contract will be funded
After this, the bug bounty program will also continue throughout the three years of the vested airdrop period.
The Special Council election process includes self-nomination. So far, the following people have announced their intention to nominate themselves (likely more TBA later).
I will be writing a thread later this week to highlight these nine candidates and will continue to update it throughout the nomination process.
Check out the thread below to find recent trends on voter counts, delegation percentages, and perfect voters.

With another week of voting in the books, let's take a look at 3 trends from this past week.
1. Voter counts hovered around the 700 mark once again this week, still much higher than they were in previous months.

Each week, I will be sitting down with a member of the DAO to talk about their web3 journey, how they got involved with the DAO, and anything else they want to share with you all.
To kick things off, here is my background and current role I play in the community.
There are no proposals in the Live Voting stage this week. Check back next week for further updates.
Zach is proposing to create an ongoing bug bounty for all proposals that introduce security risk. Click below to learn more about it.

Crypto Weekly by Maaria
Apecoin DAO Board Member Maaria continues to keep the community informed on what is happening across the Web3 community. Below are some of the updates from her most recent issue. You can subscribe to the full version here.
OpenSea said it would continue enforcing creator royalties on its marketplace, after getting pushback from NFT creators.
The US Treasury Department updated its sanctions against coin mixer Tornado Cash. The sanctions now specifically target individuals from North Korea’s WMD program instead of including the software’s founders, core developers, DAO members or any other users of the software.
Crypto venture fund Paradigm has launched a crypto policy council that includes former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, former US congressman Steve Israel and 6 others. The council will advise Paradigm leadership on crypto policy issues and will not do any external lobbying.
The SEC won a case against LBRY Protocol for selling an unregistered security, a ruling viewed by many crypto advocates as a dangerous precedent. The case is expected to be appealed.
Thanks for reading this week’s edition! As mentioned above, a lot of ideas are being proposed on the Discourse forum nearly every day. If you have one of your own and are unsure where to begin, please reach out to me so I can help you get started.
