AIP Live Voting
There is one proposal in the Live Voting stage this week. Voting ends at 6 PM PST on Wednesday 8/23. You can vote on Snapshot here.
This proposal aims to create an Augmented Reality (AR) Launchpad to empower artists and entrepreneurs in the community to launch augmented reality collections and products, powered by ApeCoin.
Once a quarter, there would be a call to action for artists and entrepreneurs to submit an application explaining how augmented reality would be used in a new collection or drop. The process would begin in Q4 2023 and someone would need to hold at least one ApeCoin to be eligible to submit an application.
The team behind this proposal would select three winners each quarter and provide them with AR technology, tools, and advisors to help develop their project. The products would then be released on the AR website and be exclusively sold in ApeCoin.
This proposal is asking for $300,000, broken down as:
Community & Outreach Director: $50,000
Web Designer: $30,000
Program Coordinator: $40,000
Lifetime AR Licenses: $15,000/project x 12 projects = $180,000
You can find the full proposal, including a detailed cost breakdown, here and the current voting results are below.
AIP Completed Voting
There were three proposals that completed the voting process last Wednesday. Here are the final results for each:
AIP-266: Authorise Special Council to issue Directives for more efficient DAO operation
AIP-268: ApeCoin DAO Voting Adoption Driven by Good Month Labs
AIP-289: Designing a Mascot for Apecoin
Thanks for reading this week’s edition! As mentioned above, a lot of ideas are being proposed on the Forum nearly every day. If you have one of your own and are unsure where to begin, please reach out to me so I can help you get started.
