For only the second time in the past six months, there are no AIPs to vote on this week. Holiday season is upon us and the new Stewards and Special Council members begin their one-year terms today. With no voting, this week’s issue includes a peak into one of the things I’ve been working on recently and other updates across the DAO.

As part of my role as DAO Secretary, one of my responsibilities includes writing a yearly DAO Progress Report.

So far, I’ve identified the following topics to include. I plan on publishing this report in the next week or two as a way to look back on the progress made this past year and identify areas to improve and lessons to learn from heading into the new year. The amount of Forum users, Discord users, Snapshot members, proposals voted on, and working groups all increased from 2022 to 2023. However, the percentage of proposals approved decreased from 62% to 46%. I’m curious to see if the DAO can find more alignment in 2024, with things like a defined purpose, goals, and objectives.
