Secretary Corner
Here’s a summary of last week’s Metaverse Working Group call, which includes a few updates on what the team is currently working on.
Delegate Domain
The third Global Community Council meeting will be held this Wednesday (1/17) at 8 AM PST. Be on the lookout for a recap in next week’s issue.
Stat of the Week
Now that we’ve transitioned to the new two-week voting window, I’m curious to see if it will affect the amount of AIPs we see on the Forum.
The amount of AIPs on the Forum has been decreasing lately.
With the new two-week voting window, I'm curious to see if that trend continues.

AIP Live Voting
There are two proposals in the Live Voting stage this week. Voting ends at 6 PM PST on Thursday 1/18. You can view the proposals and vote on Snapshot here.
AIP-365: PKing - 3D MOBA mobile game: YugaNFT+ApeCoin as game currency
This proposal is requesting funding for a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) 3D pixel racing metaverse game created for Meebits and Apes. Players would transform Meebits into PKing racers, build cars, and compete with global players online in a racing collision game.
The game would utilize two tokens: 1) the PKing token to participate in platform decision-making and governance and 2) ApeCoin to purchase limited game props, vehicle upgrades, and skill enhancements.
This proposal is requesting 30,000 ApeCoin, broken down as follows:
Marketing Expenses: 10,000 ApeCoin
Competition Bonus Pool: 10,000 ApeCoin
Research & Development Expenses: 10,000 ApeCoin
You can find the full proposal, including a detailed cost breakdown, here and the current voting results are below.
AIP-366: Rules and Framework for Temperature Checks
This proposal suggests a framework and rules for polling the community, calling them Ape Temperature Checks (ATC). The following categories would be added to the Forum to display ATCs:
ATC Idea
ATC Draft
Live ATC
Finished ATC
Below is the ATC draft template that would be used.
The same Snapshot voting space used for AIPs would be used for ATCs. Single choice voting would be the default method used and one wallet would equal one vote. Authors would have the option to choose other voting methods, such as rank-choice or weighted, if a viable reason were to be stated.
This proposal would include no grant request. You can find the full proposal here and the current voting results are below.
AIP Completed Voting
There were no proposals that completed the voting process last Thursday. Check back next week for the final results of this week’s voting.
