The Bulletin Bored: AIP-1 Updates & Working Group Structure

(Issue 44)

Welcome back for another issue of The Bulletin Bored, where I provide news, analytics, and other information on the Apecoin DAO. With no proposals up for a vote once again, the focus this week has been on Working Group Zero and what it is looking to accomplish. A few Stewards, including myself, have begun moderating the Discourse forum as it has been transitioned away from Cartan. The Stewards have also been brainstorming updates to AIP-1 and the development of Working Group Structure. As we progress through March, we will be incorporating the rest of the community in these discussions as we look to form an official AIP by the end of the month.

  • WG0 ends on 3/31

  • Monday/Wednesday/Friday ApeComms Spaces will be used for discussion with the community on ideas, goals, and action items for WG0

  • Changes include updates to AIP-1 and development of Working Group Structure

  • Tentative timeline for Proposal (including AIP-1 updates and Working Group Structure)

    • March 10th - 1st Draft

    • March 17th - 2nd Draft

    • March 24th - 3rd Draft

    • March 31st - Final Draft

Having voter fatigue? If so, this is the first time in six months there has been two straight weeks of no proposals going up for a vote.

There are no proposals in the Live Voting stage this week. Please check back again next week to see if any make it to vote.

Former Apecoin DAO Special Council Member Maaria continues to keep the community informed on what is happening across the Web3 community with her weekly newsletter. There is no issue this week but you can subscribe to her full version here.

Thanks for reading this week’s edition! As mentioned above, a lot of ideas are being proposed on the Discourse forum nearly every day. If you have one of your own and are unsure where to begin, please reach out to me so I can help you get started.
