Secretary Update
ICYMI, I post a thread every Tuesday which highlights where each proposal is at in the AIP Process. Please note these threads are not meant to replace the Transparency Report from AIP-121 the DAO Administrator (WebSlinger) is tasked with.
While WebSlinger’s report will provide clarity on fund allocation for each approved AIP, my reports are a way for the community to better understand where AIPs are at in the process and track milestones.
Have something else you would like to see tracked? Let me know in the comments below or reach out to me on Twitter.

Chart of the Week
In last week’s newsletter, I mentioned waning voter participation and how the number of wallets voting each week has been declining since February. This past week continued that trend as one proposal had the lowest voter turnout we have seen in the history of the DAO.
AIP-195 from this past week had just 349 wallets vote on the proposal.
This is the lowest voter turnout in the history of the @apecoin DAO.

AIP-256: ApeCoin DAO Mission Statement
This proposal is a resubmission of AIP-191. The new version seeks to empower the DAO to vote on a mission statement from a collection of 8 different community submitted and selected options.
If this proposal were to pass, the author would schedule and host three mission statement workshops over a three-week timespan.
Workshop 1: Twitter Space to review process thus far, review survey info, and announce call-to-action for submissions from community to be posted in a Forum General Post
Workshop 2: Discord Call to review submissions and narrow down to the top 8 options through a week of emoji voting. Those with the most reactions would win.
Workshop 3: Twitter Space to announce the 8 finalists and have them share their mission statements prior to sending them to a DAO-wide vote
The author would socialize the mission statement finalists including native-speaker translations in Mandarin, Hindi, Spanish, French (both written and on video where possible). The 8 mission statement finalists would be sent to a DAO-wide vote where the community would have the option to select one mission statement or a “none of the above” option.
The overall cost would be 1 ApeCoin.
